(+)-mentofuran sintaza (EC 1.14.13.104, mentofuran sintaza, (+)-pulegon 9-hidroksilaza, (+)-MFS, citohrom P450 mentofuranska sintaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom (+)-pulegon,NADPH:kiseonik oksidoreduktaza (9-hidroksilacija).[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (+)-pulegon + NADPH + H+ + O2 (+)-mentofuran + NADP+ + H2O
Ovaj enzim je heme-tiolatni protein (P-450). Konverzija supstrata u produkt obuhvata hidroksilaciju sin-metila (C9), intramolekularnu ciklizaciju do hemiketala i dehidraciju furana.
