Valčitransko blago (bug. Вълчитрънско златно съкровище) jeste arheološki nalaz ostave ranih predmeta tračke kulture. Naučnici datiraju blago u 1300. godinu PH.
Otkrila su ga 28. decembra 1924. dva brata koji su radili u svom vinogradu u blizini sela Valčitran, 22 kilometra jugoistočno od Plevena.[1][2]
Zlatno od kojih su napravljeni predmeti ima prirodnu mešavinu od 9,7% srebra.
Blago predstavlja jednu od vrijednijih zbirki izloženih u Nacionalnom arheološkom muzeju u Sofiji.[3]
Predmeti
[uredi | uredi izvor]Ostava se sastoji od 13 posuda, različitih po obliku i veličini, ukupne težine 12,5 kilograma i to:
- dva okrugla tanjira
- pet okruglih kupolastih delova, dva sa centralnim drškama
- tri šolje sa drškama
- bokal sa drškom
- tri posude u obliku lista sa drškama
- činija sa dvije drške (4,5 kg zlata)
