Klajv Stejpls Luis (engl. Clive Staples Lewis; Belfast, 29. novembar 1898 — Oksford, 22. novembar 1963) bio je britanski pisac, pesnik, akademik, istraživač srednjeg veka, književni kritičar, esejista, priučeni teolog, voditelj, predavač, i hrišćanski apologeta. Držao je akademske pozicije na Univerzitetu Oksford (Magdalen Koledž), 1925-1954, i Univerzitetu Kembridž (Magdalena Koledž), 1954-1963. On je najpoznatiji po svom rad na fikciji, posebno "Skrevtejpova pisama", "Letopisi Narnije", i "Svemirska trilogija", i za njegove ne-fikcijske hrišćanske apologetike, kao što su "Mere hrišćanstva", "Čuda", i "Problem bola".
Luis i, njegov kolega pisac, Dž. R. R. Tolkin su bili bliski prijatelji. Obojica su radili na engleskom fakultetu na Oksfordskom univerzitetu, i bili su aktivni u neformalnoj književnoj grupi na Oksford poznatu kao Inkling. Prema Luisovim memoarima "Iznenadila me sreća" (engl. Surprised by Joy), bio je kršten u crkvi u Irskoj, ali se udaljio od svoje vere tokom adolescencije. Oženio se, 1956, američkom spisateljicom Džoi Dejvidmen; umrla je od raka četiri godine kasnije, kada je imala 45 godina, a Luis je umro 22. novembra 1963. od zatajenja bubrega, nedelju dana pre njegovog 65. rođendana. Izveštavanje medija o njegovoj smrti je bilo minimalno, pošto su on i kolega britanski pisac Oldus Haksli umrli istog dana kada je američki predsednik Džon F. Kenedi ubijen. Na 50. godišnjicu njegove smrti, 2013, u Luisovu čast je podignut spomenik u Pesničkom kutku u Vestminsterskoj opatiji.
Luisovi radovi su prevedeni na više od 30 jezika i prodati u milionima primeraka. Knjige koje čine "Letopise narnije" su prodali najviše primeraka i su popularizovane su u pozorištu, na TV, radii, i filmu.
