(+)-Beta-kariofilenska sintaza (EC 4.2.3.89, GcoA) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom (2Z,6E)-farnezil-difosfat difosfat-lijaza (ciklizacija, formira (+)-beta-kariofilen).[1] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (2E,6E)-farnezil difosfat (+)-beta-kariofilen + difosfat
Ovaj multifunkcionalni takođe konvertuje (+)-beta-kariofilen u (+)-kariolan-1-ol.
