2-metilisocitratna dehidrataza (EC 4.2.1.99, (2S,3R)-3-hidroksibutan-1,2,3-trikarboksilatna hidrolijaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom (2S,3R)-3-hidroksibutan-1,2,3-trikarboksilat hidrolijaza (formira (Z)-but-2-en-1,2,3-trikarboksilat).[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (2S,3R)-3-hidroksibutan-1,2,3-trikarboksilat (Z)-but-2-en-1,2,3-trikarboksilat + H2O
Enzim iz gljive Yarrowia lipolitica (Saccharomycopsis) ne deluje na izocitrat.
