Vitamin D3 24-hidroksilaza (EC 1.14.13.126, CYP24A1) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom kalcitriol,NADPH:kiseonik oksidoreduktaza (24-hidroksilacija).[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (1) kalcitriol + NADPH + H+ + O2 kalcitetrol + NADP+ +H2O
- (2) kalcidiol + NADPH + H+ + O2 sekalciferol + NADP+ +H2O
Ovaj enzim je hem-tiolatni enzim (P-450).
