Cis-muuroladienska sintaza (EC 4.2.3.67, MxpSS1) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom (2E,6E)-farnezil-difosfat difosfat-lijaza (formira cis-muuroladien).[1] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (1) (2E,6E)-farnezil difosfat cis-muurola-3,5-dien + difosfat
- (2) (2E,6E)-farnezil difosfat cis-muurola-4(14),5-dien + difosfat
Rekombinantni enzim iz crnog peperminta (Mentha x piperita) formira smešu cis-muurola-3,5-diena (45%) i cis-muurola-4(14),5-diena (43%).
