Uracil/timin dehidrogenaza (EC 1.17.99.4, uracil oksidaza, uracil-timin oksidaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom uracil:akceptor oksidoreduktaza.[1][2][3][4][5] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (1) uracil + H2O + akceptor barbiturat + redukovani akceptor
- (2) timin + H2O + akceptor 5-metilbarbiturat + redukovani akceptor
Ovaj enzim formira deo oksidativnog puta degradacije pirimidina kod nekih mikroorganizama, zajedno sa EC 3.5.2.1 (barbiturazom) i EC 3.5.1.95 (N-malonilurejskom hidrolazom).
